Charlie put a lot of work into organizing our next reunion and we should respond to his efforts by booking our rooms and returning the registration forms ASAP to him. 

If we don't have enough rooms booked by a certain date, we pay a BIG penalty.  So if you're serious about attending, please don't hesitate.  As usual, we are here to answer your questions.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the Charleston airport and serviced by courtesy cars.

 

All of our tours have been scheduled and confirmed.  So plan on reserving your space for these tours early.  Please note that the tour prices include bus transportation.  Space on the bus is limited to 57, but we will try and accommodate everyone who signs up.

Reunion Registration Fee will be $15/single or $25/couple to defray hospitality room and miscellaneous expenses.  Use this link to download our REUNION REGISTRATION FORM.

As usual, Ed Rabbitt will be handling all your OFFICIAL SEA ROBIN APPAREL needs.  He has embroidered hats, golf shirts, & windbreakers.  Contact Ed for size/color selections. 

Also NOTE that we will be offering COMMEMORATIVE REUNION T- SHIRTS for 2009. These will be available directly from SUE PONDER. 

 

TENTATIVE "PLAN OF THE DAY"
Tue Oct 6th - travel day or arrival,  Hospitality room opens at 1600.

EARLY ARRIVAL...running errands..work parties...socializing!!!

 
Wed Oct 7th - arrival & hospitality room, Free time.  

SS-407 ASSOCIATION MEETING.
 
Thur Oct 8th - Bus trip to Patriots Point ...tour of WWII ships including USS YORKTOWN and USS Clamagore.  Also we will visit the recently dedicated CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR SOCIETY MUSEUM.  ($40/ea)

Lunch is available at the site. 
 
Fri Oct 9th - Bus to Liberty Square - Ferryboat tour of Fort Sumter, ($30/ea). 

Lunch is available at the pier @ "THE HARBOR GRILLE"

After lunch the bus will continue to the Red Barn (Palmetto Carriage)  tour of old Charleston ($35/person), followed by free-time shopping at The Market and then "(Dutch Treat)" dinner at the Noisy Oyster.

 
Sat Oct 10th - 0900 bus to tour CSS Hunley ($30/person).  

REUNION BANQUET  ($35/person)

Sun Oct 11th - return home...
